SEACO 1800 is a premium quality, mechanically stable, lithium calcium sulphonate borate multi-complex soap thickened grease, designed to provide long relubrication intervals, even in difficult working conditions. GB UNIGREASE® 1749 is suitable for use in all types of anti-friction, plain bearings and sliding surfaces; it has exceptional load carrying capacity and resistance to water, which promotes long component life.
1800 provides the following benefits:
·High shear stability, which greatly extends lubrication intervals, ensuring maximum cost savings in grease consumption.
·Excellent water resistance and anti-corrosion agents, to protect and extend the working life of components.
·Extremely high level of EP performance, providing protection against premature wear.
·A versatile lubricant with a wide temperature range.
APPLICATION METHOD
SEACO 1800 can be applied by hand, or by using a standard grease gun (400gm cartridges available), or via a central lubricating system capable of pumping an NLGI No. 2 grease. As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and only to apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
